These panels monitor phase voltages and controls the automatic starting, stopping and load transfer of the generating set in case of a mains failure and once the generator is running, it monitors internal protections and external fault inputs. If a fault condition occurs, the unit shuts down the engine automatically and indicates the failure source. There are many different features in Datakom AMF panels including mutual generator standby operations, mains and multiple generator synchronization, J1939 and MODBUS support, LAN and GSM remote monitoring and control. All these controllers can also be used for manual and remote generator control.
    • Manual/Remote Start Controllers Datakom DKG series Manual and Remote start controllers are comprehensive generator control units designed to start and stop gas, diesel and petrol 1-3 phase generating set manually and/or remotely. The manual control is made using the pushbuttons on the front panel. The remote control is made via the REMOTE START input signal. In AUTOMATIC position, controllers monitor the REMOTE START signal and controls the automatic starting, stopping and load transfer of the generating set. Once the generator is running, it monitors internal protections and external fault inputs. If a fault condition occurs, the units shut down the engine automatically and indicate the failure source.

    • Generator Battery Chargers/Power Supplies Datakom SMPS series chargers are intended to charge generator start batteries and to provide stabilized DC power supply for Datakom controllers and other electronic devices. Depending on model the chargers are compatible with 12V or 24 V batteries and be mounted on DIN rail or directly inside of generator control box. All devices have shortcut circuit protection to keep it alive after starter motor usage. Charger metal case is neutral isolated thus it could be powered whether by phase-neutral or phase-phase AC voltage.
    • Generator Engine Governor Controllers Datakom DKG series governor controllers are low cost electronic units designed to control diesel and gas generator engine speed with fast and accurate response to load changes. These devices are connected to forward acting proportional electric actuators and magnetic speed sensors.     • Alternator Auto Voltage Regulators (AVR) Datakom automatic voltage regulators are used to control the output of generators (as seen in ships and power stations, or on oil rigs, greenhouses and emergency power systems). This is an active system mounted near the generator and connected with several wires to measure and adjust the generator. In the first place the AVR monitors the output voltage and controls the input voltage for the exciter of the generator. By increasing or decreasing the generator control voltage, the output voltage of the generator increases or decreases accordingly. The AVR calculates how much voltage has to be sent to the exciter numerous times a second, therefore stabilizing the output voltage to a predetermined setpoint. When two or more generators are powering the same system (parallel operation) the AVR receives information from more generators to match all output.
